Skywatch Friday No. 24 - A Deep and Dark December

Skywatch Friday
From the general pasture of Freshwater Valley Stables,
Humboldt County, California

Christmas Day . . . hail, rain,
almost snow, crazy wind, more hail.
Glorious, wild skies. Color in the rain.
Hungry horses. Lots of mud.
Happy dog. Holiday light.

We had a bit of rain down here too, but definitely not any snow. (This is south Florida).

I very much like the variety of photos you posted here, and the photos, themselves, of course. I particularly admire the red berries in an otherwise gray day.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!

P.S. Love your blog name! Baba Yaga was one of my favorite storybook characters when I was a kid (looooong time ago.) Do you have a hut that runs around on a chicken leg? Inquiring minds want to know. Heheheheh!:)

When we fly our airplane we call that a sucker hole. But from the ground it looks like a window to good weather.
