Getting Better Every Day

Horsenaltiy is starting to emerge. Once Autumn must have been a princess horse. She loves the better things that life has to offer, stinky ole regular grass hay is NOT in that category. Peppermints, carrots, and alfalfa are. Scratches are much appreciated. I hate leaving any horse in a box but the rain continues. She is a sweet, sweet mare.

I am so happy that you are able to do something for these 2 horses!! It's amazing what good food will do for her in a short amount of time. Good luck!

Havent had much chance to comment lately but wanted to send along a High 5 for taking care of this grand old mare so well!

Cant wait to see how she is looking in a couple months!! Sure is great to see her eyes shine now.

I did not realize that you had the option of using a stall at your place. Autumn looks great after being treated with the respect she deserves...all because someone like you cares enough to do something.
Thanks.

Poor skinny little thing. Shes a princess alright.

Something that you can get that I fed Naigen when I got her (who was on the verge of death from starvation she was so emaciated) was weight gain by farnam and lots and lots of beet pulp. Worked quicker than anything else.

Ah, royalty emerges! Lily is a princess as well, and we had to round pen for a while to reduce the demands on her subjects. :)

It must be so satisfying to see her true colors emerge and know that it is because of you that this horse is happy again. Beautiful story. =)
